Senior Counsel

BIO

Jesse Vazquez is a litigator and strategic adviser who represents political leaders, advocacy organizations, PACs, and private entities in high-stakes, politically charged disputes. His practice centers on defending clients in complex litigation and delivering clear, forward-thinking counsel in matters involving constitutional law, government investigations, and regulatory overreach. Jesse’s practice is grounded in years of experience working on complex commercial disputes, where he has served as lead counsel on high-stakes cases involving hundreds of millions of dollars in potential exposure. In each matter, Jesse cuts through complexity, anticipates legal and tactical pressure points, and develops creative, outcome-driven strategies that win in the courtroom and at the negotiating table.

Jesse brings a full-service litigation skillset to every matter he handles. He has taken and defended depositions, drafted and argued dispositive motions, and managed all phases of discovery. His brief writing has delivered victories at both the trial and appellate level, and regularly results in dismissed claims, successful motions, and strategic advantage in litigation. Whether stepping into an active case or building one from the ground up, Jesse combines sharp legal instincts with deep strategic focus to deliver results when the stakes are highest. Prior to joining Lex Politica, Jesse practiced at several AmLaw 100 firms, where he focused on complex insurance and commercial litigation for Fortune 500 companies, insurers, and policyholders. Before becoming an attorney, he served as a Public Relations Director and Press Secretary for multiple political campaigns in Florida, where he developed messaging, coordinated media strategy, and advised candidates running for state and local office.
