Kevin Cline practices political law, estate planning, and civil litigation. His practice draws on a breadth of experience in government, campaigns, and private practice. Prior to joining Lex Politica, Kevin served as Special Assistant to the President and Associate Counsel in the White House Counsel's Office. He has also run his own law firm in North Carolina and served as National Election Integrity Counsel for the Republican National Committee and the Trump Vance Campaign. These varied roles—as a White House adviser, firm owner, and campaign counsel—inform Kevin's practical, client-focused approach to navigating complex and high-stakes legal matters.

Kevin has been recognized for his work in North Carolina, having been selected by Business North Carolina to its Legal Elite: Young Guns division and named a North Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Star by North Carolina Super Lawyers Magazine.

Kevin is a graduate of Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he served as an Editor of the Campbell Law Observer, and of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, where he played Varsity Football and earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. He is admitted to practice law in North Carolina, the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Outside the practice of law, Kevin is an aspiring scratch golfer and an avid sports fan.
