Senior Counsel
Nadin Linthorst is a seasoned attorney and experienced litigator with a proven track record of leadership working on some of the country’s most sensitive and high-profile matters. Drawing on years of experience at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and in federal litigation, she provides pragmatic, strategic counsel where legal, political, and reputational risks converge. Before joining Lex Politica, Nadin served as an Assistant General Counsel at the FBI, managing high-stakes civil litigation and congressional oversight inquiries. She played a key role in major cases involving constitutional law, data privacy, and national security. Nadin later served as Acting Unit Chief, overseeing a team of attorneys and coordinating strategy across the Department of Justice and the Intelligence Community.
Nadin previously clerked for Judge Michael M. Mihm of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois and practiced civil litigation at New York-based private law firms. Earlier in her career, she worked in public relations, honing the crisis-management and communications skills that continue to inform her approach to high-visibility matters today.
She has received the FBI Director’s Award for Outstanding Legal Support and her legal writing has been published in leading law reviews.
